Learning Objectives: 1. To provide psychoeducation and demystify misconceptions regarding the prevalence, symptom presentation, and treatment of OCD in the BIPOC community 2. To discuss sociocultural risk and protective factors related to OCD in the BIPOC community. 3. To review challenges regarding OCD treatment access and engagement in the Black and Latinx/Hispanic communities This event, appropriate for therapists with intermediate and advanced doctoral-level education, is co-sponsored by OCD Texas. OCD Texas is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education (CE) for psychologists. OCD Texas maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
