Learning Objectives By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to: 1. Explain how the I-CBT model conceptualizes OCD as a disorder of inference rather than an overestimation of threat. 2. Identify the importance of using I-CBT to fidelity and not piecemeal in order to be truly providing I-CBT. 3. List three ways in which I-CBT as a primarily cognitive model differs from traditional behavioral approaches to treating This program is intended for clinicians with intermediate to advanced clinical training, with levels of specialized OCD treatment experience in the intermediate to advanced levels. OCD Texas is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. OCD Texas maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Certificates will be provided to attendees with other credentials (e.g. LPC, LCSW). Mental health professionals other than psychologists outside the state of Texas should review your licensing board guidelines of your state regarding eligibility.
