Learning Objectives: By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to: 1. Understand ERP well beyond a fear extinction model 2. Understand how to implement ERP with core fear work 3. Understand the misconceptions and pitfalls of ERP (using ERP as fear factor) 4. Understand the impact of language on recovery This program is intended for clinicians with advanced clinical training, with levels of specialized OCD treatment experience in the beginner to advanced levels. OCD Texas is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. OCD Texas maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Certificates will be provided to attendees with other credentials (e.g. LPC, LCSW). Mental health professionals other than psychologists outside the state of Texas should review your licensing board guidelines of your state regarding eligibility.
